You will receive two cups of freshly dried, fragrant Eastern Cottonwood tree bark (Populus deltoides), packaged in a compostable bag with a recycled paper label.
**NOTE: This is not the same as Cotton root bark - that's an entirely different plant with a VERY different use! :)
All our dried herbs are sustainably wildcrafted or garden grown in and around Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan. Cottonwood is abundant in our area, and we gather freshly downed green branches whenever we see them. Cottonwood is a wonderfully useful tree, and is found in several our most popular salves and remedies. Dried Cottonwood bark makes a really nice tincture. You can also use to make such things as teas, bath tea, foot soaks for tired achy feet, or infuse in oil to make a nice massage oil.

Ingredients & Process:
All offerings from Linden Tree Herbals are made by me in small batches with wildcrafted, sustainably gathered and garden-grown botanicals. With rare exceptions, plant materials used are ethically harvested by me from wild spaces in and around Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Other ingredients used (oils, butters, alcohol, honey, beeswax, etc.) are organic and locally-sourced whenever possible.

Packaging:
Eco-friendly and sustainable business practices are a core component of who we are. Linden Tree Herbals products are packaged in metal tins, glass, or compostable paper containers. Product labels are made from either recycled or compostable paper. We use recycled packing and shipping materials, and hope you will reuse, recycle or compost the packing materials used for your order.
